Based at the multi-award winning Battlesteads Hotel, this 3 night break is a stunning way to improve your landscape and wildlife photography, learn how to photograph the night sky and enjoy what Northumberland, the Battlesteads and Northern Experience can do for you.
Day One
After arrival at the Battlesteads Hotel (after 16:00) you'll have time to get settled in before meeting your guide for a drink in the bar. After dinner we'll attend the evening public session at the observatory.
Day Two
Today we'll head across to the Northumberland coast and the stunning landscape and wildlife photography locations that can be found along this tranquil coastline where the castles of Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh only hint at the turbulent past of the region. After dinner in the Battlesteads restaurant we'll have our second session at the observatory.
Day Three
Hills, valleys, streams and waterfalls are on the agenda for today, as we explore inland Northumberland. After dinner in the Battlesteads restaurant we'll have our third session at the observatory.
Day Four
After breakfast we'll depart from the Battlesteads by 10:00.
Pick-up available from Newcastle or Hexham railway station.
