Battlesteads is passionate about our beers and ales. We have a group of popular regular beers that we rotate and always have additional guest beers on tap for your enjoyment.

This year we host our 7th annual Battlesteads Beer Festival in July. Our four day festival features the best beers, ciders and lagers, with music and entertainment.

Our current regular beers include:

Magus

(3.8% ABV)

Durham Brewery

Extremely pale in colour with refreshing crisp hops. Lemon notes add to the freshness.Our best selling beer is the ultimate session drink. Three Magi, One Magus.

Secret Kingdom

(4.3% ABV)

Hadrian Border Brewery

Dark, rich and full-bodied slightly roasted with a malty palate ending with a pleasant bitterness.

Jarl

(3.8% ABV)

Fyne Ales

Light and golden colour with a strong citrus and hop aroma. Citrus and grassy hop flavours dominate the palate with a light and refreshing dry finish. A superbly drinkable beer.

Tyneside Blonde

(3.9% ABV)

Hadrian Border Brewery

A pale coloured thirst-quencher, using maris otter malt, wheat malt and an abundance of bittering and aromatic hops.

Nel's Best

(4.2% ABV)

High House Farm Brewery

Goldings Hops blended with the finest English malt produces this golden coloured best bitter, very pleasant to drink, not overly bitter and easy on the pallet.

Gold Tankard

(4.0% ABV)

Wylam Brewery

Made with all gold ingredients - Golden Promise Pale Malt, Golden naked oats, First Gold Hops, with a Willamette hop finish. Fresh, clean flavour with a hint of grapefruit citrus from the Willamette.

Rivet Catcher

(4.0% ABV)

The Great North Eastern Brewing Company

A light, smooth, satisfying gold bitter. Subtle fruity hops give the taste profile on tongue and nose.
